Napoleon Lajoie, Nicknamed "the Frenchman", was an American professional baseball second baseman who played 21 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB), known for his impressive batting and fielding skills. A five-time American League batting champion, he played primarily for the Cleveland Indians and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1937.
